The teaser came with spinechilling moments that define patriotism and nationalistic fervour. Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty play soldiers who are trying to navigate through the 1971 Indo-Pak war.                                         In one instance, Sunny's character says, "Tum jahan se bhi ghusne ki koshish karoge, zameen se, aasmaan se, samundar se-saamne ek Hindustani fauji khada paoge..." (Wherever you try to enter from, be it the land, the sky or the sea, there would be one Indian soldier standing in front of you.) In another instance, Sunny's character says, "Aawaz kahan tak jaani chahiye?" to which the other soldiers scream, "Lahore tak!" The same sets the tone for the film as it delves into the bravery of the soldiers who fought in the gruesome war.The teaser was launched at an event in Mumbai. It was attended by Sunny Deol, who made his first public appearance after father Dharmendra's death. The other actors, including Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty joined him on stage. The trio was also joined by director Anurag Singh and producers Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Dutta.Sunny Deol opened up about working in Border 2 and reliving the memories of the 1997 movie Border. He shared about the scenes being hard-hitting and how wearing the soldier's uniform is uplifting and comes with responsibility. Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty shared about working with Sunny Deol. While Varun Dhawan opened up about the "Lahore Tak" dialogue and how it became a crucial part of the teaser, Ahan Shetty quipped about the advice his father Suniel Shetty gave him before he started working on the film.          Border 2 also stars Medha Rana, Mona Singh, Anya Singh and Sonam Bajwa in leading roles.
